Referral programme

Know a school that should be ready for its review? Refer it.

Anyone aged 18 or over with a personal Bawsala account can recommend Bawsala Schools to a school they know: principals, teachers, owners, consultants and retired educators. You share your own link, and when the school pays for its first year, you are rewarded.

What you receive

  • Cash

25% of what the school actually pays for its first-year subscription, before VAT, paid once to your Oman bank account.

  • School credit

Credit off the next renewal of the school where you work, if it is a Bawsala customer: OMR 75, AED 750, QAR 750, SAR 750, in the currency that school is billed in. Credits from several referrals add up.

  • For the school you refer

Through your link or code its first year costs less than the published founding price: OMR 199 instead of OMR 299 in Oman; AED 1,900 instead of AED 2,850 in United Arab Emirates; QAR 1,900 instead of QAR 2,850 in Qatar; SAR 1,900 instead of SAR 2,850 in Saudi Arabia.

You choose cash or credit, as a default or school by school. There is no reward on renewals, add-ons or services.

The rules

  • Never for your own school

You cannot be rewarded, in cash or credit, for a school where you work, in which you own a stake or on whose board you sit, or for another school in the same group (Royal Decree 66/2026). The system refuses these referrals.

  • Tell the school

When you recommend Bawsala, tell the school that Bawsala pays you a referral reward, and that your link or code gives it a lower founding price for its first year. Bawsala also shows the school your name as the referrer at registration and on its first invoice.

  • Your link is anonymous

Your link is a random code. It identifies the referral without showing who shared it; the school sees your name only when it registers, as the disclosure rule above requires.

  • Government and expatriate employees

Government employees cannot receive cash rewards and may choose school credit where it applies. An expatriate employee either chooses school credit or confirms that their employer has no objection to a cash reward, and keeps that confirmation available on request.

  • The first referrer counts

A school is yours when it arrives through your link or code and registers within 90 days of its first visit. Each school has one referrer, and a later link never replaces an earlier one.

  • Earned on payment, payable after the hold

The reward is earned when the school pays its first invoice in full, and becomes payable 30 days later, after the school's 14-day refund window. If that invoice is refunded, the reward is cancelled or deducted from future rewards.

  • Honest and personal

Share only with people you know who would want to hear about it; never send it to lists or to people who have not agreed. Never use bulk-messaging tools or bought lists, and never say that Bawsala is approved or required by any authority. No gifts or payments to anyone at a school.

How payouts work

  • Cash is paid once a month by bank transfer to an Oman bank account (IBAN), once your payable balance reaches at least OMR 25 and your account is approved.
  • Cash rewards are paid in Omani rials to an Oman bank account. A reward earned on a payment in UAE dirhams, Qatari riyals or Saudi riyals is converted to rials at the fixed US dollar pegs on the payment date (to one US dollar: OMR 0.3845, AED 3.6725, QAR 3.64, SAR 3.75).
  • You add your bank details on your referral page. A change is confirmed by email, and payments to the new account start 7 days later.
  • Bawsala pays every reward from its own revenue. You are responsible for any tax due on your rewards.

How to start

  1. Create a personal account. It takes a minute: your name, your email and confirmation that you are 18 or older.

  2. Open your referral page, accept the partner agreement and copy your link, QR code or ready-made messages.

  3. Share it with schools you know, and follow every click, registration and reward on the same page.

The partner agreement

This is the full agreement you accept on your referral page. Version ASABYA-REFERRAL-v1.3.

Asabya Academy Referral Partner Agreement

1. Who we are and what this covers

This agreement is between you and International Strategic Solutions Investment LLC (CR 1609049, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman), which operates Asabya Academy ("Asabya", "we"). It covers the Asabya Academy referral programme: you introduce schools to Asabya Academy with your personal code or link, and we reward you when a school you introduced pays for its first year. You agree to it by accepting it on your referral dashboard. The version you accepted and the date are recorded on your account.

2. Who may take part

Any adult with an Asabya Academy account may hold a personal referral code. One code per person. You take part in your own name; you may not act for a company or give your code to others who then refer schools in your place.

3. How a referral is counted

  1. A school is attributed to you when it reaches Asabya Academy through your link or code and registers within 90 days of its first visit.
  2. The first referrer wins. Each school has one referrer only, and a later link never replaces an earlier one.
  3. A school that writes to us and names you, your phone number or your code may be attached to you by Asabya when we can confirm it.
  4. Asabya decides attribution from its own records. Where records conflict, we decide in good faith and tell you why.

4. Rewards

For each school attributed to you, you choose one reward (as a default or per school):

  1. Cash: one payment of 25% of what the school actually paid for its first-year subscription, before VAT, rounded to the whole rial.
  2. School credit: OMR 75 off the next renewal of the school where you work, if that school is an Asabya customer. Credits from several referrals add up, and are applied up to the total of that renewal invoice.

There is no reward on renewals, add-ons or services, only on the first-year subscription. The school you refer pays, for its first year, the founding price available only through a referral link or code, which is lower than the founding price published for schools that join without one. The figures above are the programme settings shown on your dashboard when the school registers.

5. When a reward is earned and paid

  1. A reward is earned when the referred school's first invoice is paid in full.
  2. It becomes payable 30 days later, after the school's 14-day refund window.
  3. If that invoice is refunded before your reward is paid, the reward is cancelled. If it is refunded after payment, the amount is deducted from your future rewards.
  4. Cash is paid in Omani rials by bank transfer to the Oman bank account you give us, once a month, when your payable balance is at least OMR 25 and your account has been approved. A reward earned on a payment in UAE dirhams, Qatari riyals or Saudi riyals is converted to Omani rials at the fixed US dollar pegs on the payment date.
  5. If you change your bank details, you confirm the change by email, and payments to the new account start 7 days later.
  6. Asabya pays rewards from its own revenue. Your reward is never added to the school's price: through your link or code the school pays less, not more.

6. Never for your own school

Under Royal Decree 66/2026 you may not receive a reward, in cash or credit, for a school where you work, in which you own a stake, or on whose board you sit, or for another school in the same group. The system refuses these referrals and no reward is offered. You must tell us if such a link exists. A reward paid in breach of this clause must be repaid.

7. Government employees and expatriate employees

  1. Government employees may not receive cash rewards. They may choose school credit where it applies.
  2. If you are an expatriate employee, you either choose school credit or confirm that your employer has no objection to you receiving cash, and keep that confirmation available for us on request.

8. Telling schools you are rewarded

When you recommend Asabya Academy to a school, you tell them that Asabya pays you a referral reward, and that your link or code gives them the lower founding price for their first year. Asabya also shows the school "Referred by" with your name at registration and on its first invoice.

9. No bribery and no inducements

You must not offer, give or promise any payment, gift, share of your reward or other benefit to anyone at a school, or to any public official, to influence a decision to buy. You must not ask anyone at a school to pass a benefit to you. You must comply with the anti-bribery laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any breach ends your participation immediately and cancels unpaid rewards.

10. Approved materials and honest claims

Use the messages, images and links on your referral dashboard, or your own words where they are accurate. Never say or imply that Asabya Academy is approved, endorsed or required by the Ministry of Education, OAQA or any other authority. Never promise results, prices or terms that are not on the Asabya website.

11. No spam and no bulk tools

Share your link with people you know, one to one or in groups you belong to. Do not use bulk-messaging tools, purchased contact lists, automated messages or unsolicited mass emails, and respect the rules of every platform you use. Referrals obtained this way are not rewarded. Share only with people you know who would want to hear about it; never send it to lists or to people who have not agreed.

12. Data protection

We process your name, contact details, code, the clicks on your link (with the IP address kept only as a one-way hash for 30 days), the schools attributed to you, your rewards and, for cash, your bank details, to run the programme and to meet our accounting and legal duties. Your IBAN is stored encrypted and shown to you masked. You see schools by name only once they have registered. Do not give us personal data about other people unless you are entitled to. Our privacy notice at academy.asabya.com/privacy explains your rights.

13. Tax

You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on your rewards. Asabya may ask for information it needs to meet its own obligations.

14. Changes

We may change the programme, its settings or this agreement. A new version is published on your dashboard and applies to schools that register after it is published; rewards already earned keep the terms under which they were earned. We will ask you to accept a new version before further cash payments.

15. Suspension and ending

You may leave the programme at any time by writing to us; earned rewards remain payable under these terms. We may put your account on hold while we check a concern, or end your participation for a breach of this agreement, fraud or misuse, in which case unpaid rewards connected to the breach are cancelled.

16. Law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Muscat have jurisdiction. Questions: academy@asabya.com or WhatsApp +968 9504 1343.
