Become a Bawsala ambassador
Help schools in Oman get ready for their self-evaluation review, and be rewarded for it. Recommend Bawsala Schools to schools you know, or join us as an implementation expert who helps schools set it up.
Joining is free. Anyone aged 18 or over can take part.
What Bawsala Schools does for a school
Every school in Oman evaluates itself against the framework of the Oman Authority for Quality Assurance of Education (OAQA) and has to be ready for external review. Bawsala puts that work in one place.
Self-evaluation against the OAQA framework
The school rates itself on each standard and indicator and writes down its reasons, so every judgement can be explained.
Evidence in one place
Documents, files and records sit with the indicators they support, and the school sees which required evidence is still missing.
The self-evaluation document, in Arabic and English
The platform prepares the school's self-evaluation document from its own ratings and evidence, in both languages.
A clear view of readiness
Leaders see at a glance what is done, what is missing and what to do next before the review.
What you earn
You are rewarded once for each school that joins through your link and pays for its first year. These are the figures in force today.
Cash
25% of what the school actually pays for its first-year subscription, before VAT, paid once.
Or school credit
Instead of cash, credit off the next renewal of the school where you work, if it is a Bawsala customer: OMR 75, AED 750, QAR 750, SAR 750.
When you are paid
The reward is earned when the school pays its first invoice in full and becomes payable 30 days later. Cash is paid once a month by bank transfer to an Oman bank account (IBAN), once your balance reaches OMR 25.
What the school gets
Your link or code gives the school a lower founding price for its first year than the published one, and you earn the same percentage of what the school actually pays. Renewals are at the price in force at the time.
What else you gain
Recognition
Ambassadors who help a school join can be listed as Founding Ambassadors on the referral page, with their permission, and receive a certificate of appreciation.
Ready-made material in both languages
Ready messages, images for posts and WhatsApp status, a printable A4 flyer and a QR code, in Arabic and English.
An anonymous personal link
Your link is a random code, never your name, so a shared link does not show who shared it.
Results you can follow
Follow the clicks, registrations and rewards from your link on your own referral page.
How it works
Create a free personal account. It takes a minute: your name, your email and confirmation that you are 18 or older.
Open your referral page, accept the partner agreement, and take your anonymous link and the materials.
Share it with people you know who want to hear about it: principals, owners and school leaders.
Earn your reward when the school pays its first invoice.
The key rules
- You must be 18 or over.
- Never for your own school: there is no reward for a school where you work, own a stake or sit on the board, or for another school in the same group.
- Tell the school that Bawsala rewards referrals, and that your link or code lowers its price for the first year.
- Share only with people you know who would want to hear about it; never send it to lists or to people who have not agreed.
- Never say that Bawsala is approved or required by any authority.
Become an implementation expert
We are also inviting people who want to learn the platform in depth and go to schools to help them set it all up. If you know schools from the inside and enjoy helping people get organised, tell us about yourself.
What an expert helps a school with
- Setting up the school profile
- Creating the academic year
- Gathering and attaching the evidence
- Adding staff and their roles
- Preparing the self-evaluation document
Bawsala will contact suitable applicants to explain the training and the terms. Applying is an expression of interest: it is not a job offer, and it commits neither you nor Bawsala to anything.
