Everything you need to walk into your Certiport exam ready — a debrief of your mock exam results, targeted revision of weak areas, and a step-by-step guide to booking your official IC3 GS6 Level 1 exam.
After the Mock Exam
This session debriefs your Level 1 Mock Exam. Review your per-domain breakdown and identify your weakest domains. For any domain where you scored below 70%, revisit that session's workbook pages and Key Vocabulary. If your overall mock score was below 60%, speak with your instructor before booking the official exam.
About the IC3 GS6 Level 1 Exam
- Format: multiple-choice questions, taken on a computer at a Certiport Authorised Testing Centre (CATC).
- Coverage: all seven Level 1 domains.
- Time limit: check the current Certiport exam page — typically 45–50 minutes.
- Passing score: Certiport uses a scaled scoring system. Check certiport.pearsonvue.com for the current passing benchmark.
- Languages: English, and other languages — check your CATC for available options.
Registering and Booking Your Exam
- Go to certiport.pearsonvue.com and click "Find a Testing Centre" to locate your nearest Certiport CATC.
- Create a Certiport account at certiport.pearsonvue.com if you do not already have one.
- Purchase your exam voucher at store.certiport.com. The 3-exam bundle (L1 + L2 + L3) with retakes is the most cost-effective option.
- Contact your chosen CATC to schedule your exam appointment.
- Save your exam confirmation email.

On Exam Day
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID (national ID, passport, or school ID with photo).
- Bring your exam confirmation email — printed or on your phone.
- Bring your Certiport account credentials.
- You will be assigned a computer at the testing centre — do not bring your own device.
- Switch off mobile phones, or leave them outside the testing room.
- Read every question carefully. Do not spend more than 60 seconds on any one question — flag it and return if time permits.
- If a question is unclear, use elimination — remove the clearly wrong answers first.
After the Exam
You will see your score immediately. If you pass, your Certiport digital certificate is issued to your account — download and save it. If you do not pass, this is normal: review the domain breakdown, focus on your weakest areas, and use your retake voucher. Once you pass Level 1, you are eligible to begin Level 2.
